Built by someone who grew up in a rental shop
SafeRent was built by a passionate engineer — the son of a power tool rental shop owner. After a master’s in computer science, he set out to solve the problems he had watched his father live with for years. He is now both a software developer and a rental shop owner himself.
The biggest of those problems was theft. So SafeRent started from a simple principle: if there were a way to identify habitual offenders before handing over a tool, the theft would never happen in the first place.
